My Testimony

I have had five children, my eldest son Mark died in 1990 at the age of 18. I became a Christian in November of 1998, I asked God to forgive my sins through His Son Jesus Christ, and He did. Jesus came into my life and has helped me and kept me over these years, some of which have been quite traumatic, He is always faithful and although He doesn't take the problems away He has always helped me through them. The worst time I think was Feb 2004 when my husband and I (we had been married almost 25 years) split, I had two strokes however that is all in the past now and God in His rich mercy has enabled me to forgive, (how could I not when He has forgiven me so much?). Then came the house move, the divorce, the major operation, then the house flooded etc, etc, I'm not telling you all this for sympathy but just to let you know how good God is. When people let you down, and things fall apart He will never fail you.

I have vascular dementia and learning difficulties due to the strokes I survived however God has enabled me to do so much. I have learnt to play the guitar and now play at church. I enjoy photography and card making and other creative activities. 
In 2012 I was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus Erythematosus which is skin Lupus and Sjogren's Syndrome and this year I am being helped with Chronic fatigue which has affected me in various ways however I may not be able to do many things that I used to but these things are what I've got not who I am, and I continue to thank the Lord for the things I can do and praise Him for upholding me and sustaining me over the past sixteen years.  

I love the Lord Jesus and I am so grateful for His sacrifice for me and for enabling me to do so many creative things. Praise the Lord.
