The True Noah

I recently wrote in my notebook blog about my day out with my grandson Noah. I can assure you that the details are quite accurate although some are missing, I didn't write every detail. I was thinking about this in relation to books and films. I have recently been introduced to Charles Dickens, I have never read his books before but thoroughly enjoyed Great Expectations and Nicholas Nickleby, so I am planning on reading some of his other works. Having finished Great Expectations I thought I would watch the film, bad idea I spent most of the time comparing it to the book, they had so many details wrong.

Back to Noah, not my Noah but the Noah in the Bible, recently Hollywood brought out a film about Noah which is part true, some details are correct, eg, there is a God, there was a man called Noah, men were evil, God flooded the earth. But from what I can gather, and I haven't watched the film nor am I likely too based on the talks I've seen with Russel Crow and the writer, and a you tube video that explains how far away from the truth it is, The Noah Movie Deception

If you want to know the true account of what happened when God flooded the earth then you are better to get your facts from the Holy Bible, which is the inspired word of God. It is a no holes barred, factual account of the evil of man, and the judgement of God but also of His grace and mercy, only Noah and his household were righteous which is why they were saved.

Men are still evil but now they have a way to get back into a right relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, God's Son. If you want the truth read the Holy Bible's account of God's saving grace to all men, this is called the gospel, good news for all men and women everywhere no matter who they are, no matter what religion they are, rich or poor, slave or free, Jew or Gentile. Unfortunately just as in the days of Noah in these days to there are mockers and scoffers, and many reject God's offer of salvation but that is not what God wants 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received:  that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

God is going to send judgement upon the earth again, He promised He would never flood the whole earth again and so He won't, the time that is coming will be terrible (you can read about it in Revelation, in the Holy Bible) and the only way to avoid it is through repentance and believing on the risen Lord Jesus and all that He has done for you. Don't delay for no man knows the day or the hour when this will happen. Don't be like the mockers and scoffers in the time of Noah, but believe and accept the Lord Jesus as your Saviour and you will be saved from the wrath to come. God bless you.

Read if for yourself in God's holy word, don't believe, the lies and fantasies of Hollywood.
